This Professional Development Day is for users or prospective users of the Griffiths III Scales.
The day will start with registration followed by a talk by professor Anne O’Hare, Consultant Paediatrician, Professor of Child Life and Health, University of Edinburgh and Director of the Salvesen Mindroom Centre to Understand and Resolve Learning Difficulties.
The participants will then get an opportunity to meet and discuss in a rotating workshop format items from the various Griffiths III scales with the Subscale Leaders who developed these items.
Following lunch, the participants will see new DVDs of assessments using the Griffiths III, discuss issues related to scoring and the interpretation of the Grifiths III Scales and to discuss some case studies.

10.30-11.30 Prof Anne O’Hare lecture: Co-producing the research agenda in neurodevelopment; lessons from ‘Learning Difficulties’.
11.30-13.00 Five Griffiths III Subscale stations. Delegates rotate for questions, demonstration, etc.
13.00-14.00 Lunch
14.00-16.00 Case studies/DVD’s/Scoring
