The Department of Community Paediatrics at Sydney Local Health District is pleased to offer a three-day Griffiths III New User Face-to-Face Practical Training Course at Croydon Health Centre, 24 Liverpool Road, Croydon NSW 2132, Australia. There is a fee to attend this course (details below), payable directly to the Course organisers at the time of enrolment.
To be eligible to attend this course, trainees must first complete the e-Learning Course: Griffiths III Video Training Course and provide their Certificates of Completion. Fees for the e-Learning course are separate and are paid directly to ARICD via the website. The e-Learning module provides detailed information on the administration, scoring, interpretation and reporting of the Griffiths III assessment. Trainees can enrol in the e-Learning course as soon as their acceptance into the Practical Training Course is confirmed. Please allow sufficient time to complete the e-Learning course before attending the Practical Training Course.
The Practical Training Course course provides trainees with practical experience assessing children using the Griffiths III. Note that course details are subject to change depending on NSW Health Guidelines and infection control measures.
Places in this course are limited and paediatricians and psychologists currently working in the field of developmental and diagnostic assessment of children will be prioritised. We are also considering applications from other allied health staff employed within developmental and diagnostic assessment teams.
